[K has gone quiet while Jesus walks, the line still open but muted; when he gets to the door though K is back, and it's not that he's forgotten about Nibbles at all - he hasn't - but he doesn't react until Jesus finds the cat safe, and then his brow is furrowing with concern.]

How long will he be okay on his own?

He's well fed, he won't starve anytime soon and I'll leave some food out. The bigger worry is water...
