Is he going to talk to him too? K has been dealing with people - with someone in particular - that think it's better, safer, kinder even for him to be held at a distance and she doesn't like to talk to him anymore. It doesn't seem like a foregone conclusion to K that Jesus will say anything to him at all, even though admittedly he is different from Sara. He is typically more willing to talk, to try.
